Today the 5th grade students had their American Legion Flag Essay Presentation. There were 2 finalists from each class. Each finalist received an American flag, a set of coins, and a framed letter with recognition for their essay. This year, we had 2 students that Mr. Curt Froyen wanted to recognize for their essays, Isabella Woodcock and Parker Ussery. They each received $20 in addition to the other rewards. Parker’s essay will move on to the regional contest.
Finalists include Brayden Gomez, Avery Dittmer, Jackson Kelley, Alex Richmond, Kayden Feldman, Jace Carter, Bella Landis, Isabella Woodcock, Parker Ussey, and Jaylee Weldon.
