PANTHER PRIDE FOCAL POINT
In this week’s edition of the KHS Panther Pride Focus we are going to list five reasons that it’s awesome to come to school EVERYDAY. That’s right, regular attendance is such a glorious important mix of social and educational encounters that we are going to focus on it again this week. So here it is, 5 AWESOME REASONS TO ATTEND SCHOOL EVERYDAY. #1) The Prize. Perfect Attendance is an accolade that not very many people can claim to have achieved. It takes a rare combination of resilience, determination, and even a little bit of luck to achieve. That is why we make such a fuss over those who can make it, and reward it with some cool prizes. #2) Friends. School wouldn’t be the same without our friends. Ever since you were little, school was a common place to build your social skills and relationships. Believe it or not, when you are gone your friends miss you. #3) School Pride. It is not only the teachers that think that our school is the best place in the entire universe, admit it you do too. There are so many great activities happening each and every day, but you have to be here to be a part of that excitement and pride. #4) Getting prepared for LIFE. It might not seem like school is preparing you for life but it totally is. While the wide variety of specifics might not make an appearance every day in the future, the habits that you are using to learn them will definitely serve you in college and the workforce. There is an expectation that you will show up for work every single day and that you are prepared to complete your job. It is these skills that your thirteen years of school are helping you master. #5) It’s FUN! Go ahead and admit it, school can be fun. Learning new things is fun. Exploring new ideas is fun. Succeeding in your classes is fun. Excelling in your extracurricular activities is fun. When it’s all said and done, you’ll leave KHS with countless memories of fun times, and when you look back you might even find that you miss it.
Have a great week! GO PANTHERS!!
