   PANTHER PRIDE FOCAL POINT

Here’s a little challenge for you this week.  Think about some of the values that you would like to define you for this semester and beyond.  Values are those characteristics that we display and hold importance and/or worth in our lives.  The challenge is to define three values that you would like to define you, AND how you will show that you possess that value.  For example, you may say that “I value the characteristic of LEADERSHIP, and I will show this value by leading my team or classmates by setting positive examples.”   Or maybe you want to value Passion, meaning that you find it important to pursue the things you love.  Or my favorite, to be RELENTLESS.  To me, relentless means that you are constantly in pursuit of being better.

Of course these are just examples.  No one can tell you what your values are, you have to figure those out on your own.  It is not an easy challenge to define your personal values, but it is definitely a worthwhile one and I have faith that you can do it.  Good luck, and GO PANTHERS!

Quote of the Week

“Values are like fingerprints. Nobody’s are the same but you leave them all over everything you do.”

-Elvis Presley
