   PANTHER PRIDE FOCAL POINT

Here’s a little story about knowing your own value.  A father said to his daughter, “You have graduated with honors, here is a car I bought for you many years ago.  It is old and dirty now, but it may still have some value.  Why don’t you take it to the used car lot and see how much they will give you for it.” The daughter takes the car to the used car lot, and returns to tell her father that they offered “$1,000 for it, because it is pretty worn out.”  The father said, “Take it to the pawn shop and see what they would be willing to give you for it.”  The daughter returned to her father and said, “The pawn shop offered only $100 because it is so old.” The father then asked his daughter to go to the car club downtown and show them the car.  The daughter did, and returned to tell her father, “Some people in the car club offered $100,000 for it because “it is an iconic car and sought by many collectors!” The father responded, “This is because the right PLACE values you the right WAY.” If you are not valued, do not be angry, it doesn’t mean you don’t have value, it just means that you might be in the wrong place!  Those who know your value, are those who will appreciate you the most.

Have a great week and GO PANTHERS!!!
