Recently, the 8th graders in Mr. Uitermarkt's Career Exploration class were able to hear presentations from 3 local businesses on how to apply for their first part-time job and what these businesses look for employees. Thank you to Fareway, Hy-Vee and Checkered Flag Concessions for taking time out of your busy schedules to come present to our students. KCSD values all the partnerships we have in our community.

* JV/Varsity girls wrestling meet at Ottumwa has been canceled.
* High School girls & boys basketball at Davis County has been rescheduled to Mon, Jan. 20.
* A decision about whether high school teams practice after school today will come between 130-230 PM this afternoon.
* A decision about activities scheduled for tomorrow (Sat, Dec. 14) will come later on today.

School starts August 26th at 7:55am (please note this is NOT your typical late start Monday)!
School will dismiss 2 hours early at 1:25pm both Monday and Tuesday!
